The Haunted Harvest Menagerie will have entertainment for people of all ages. The Midway Local Food Resource Hub will be serving Stone Soup with community contributions of garden veggies. Bring your contribution by 6:00pm for inclusion. More local foods - hotdogs, roasted squash and potatoes - will be served at no or very minimal cost while supplies last. Programs from the Rec Center and community groups from Hamline Midway Coalition are all working together to bring a flavor of our community to this event. There is a focus on food, music, movement, sustainability and opportunity to be creeped out and bedazzled throughout the evening!
Leading up to the Haunted Harvest Menagerie is a photo contest for youth and adults. Please drop off a festive fall photo to the Recreation Center by 5pm on October 27 - photos can capture scenic fall colors or explore the creepy corners of this season. Photos will be voted on at the event and winners will receive a gift card to Ginkgo Coffeehouse.
We encourage guests to bring their own mug or bowl and join in on our feast!
