Hamline Elementary Fall Festival 2017

The Event

Please join us for the third annual Hamline Elementary Fall Festival on Saturday, October 7st, from Noon-4:30pm. A partnership between Hamline Elementary, Hamline Midway Coalition, and the Hancock Recreation Center, this free, family-friendly event is an awesome opportunity to build community and goodwell in and around the Hamline Midway neighborhood and also raise funds to support arts education at Hamline Elementary School. Funds will be raised through sponsorship, a silent auction, vendor table fees, and individual donations.

Event Schedule

There will be entertainment, food, vendors, a bake sale, many fun activities and games, and public art projects that you can partcipate in. Join us for this fun-filled day with your friends, family, and neighbors!

Thank you for your interest and support of the 4th Annual Hamline Elementary Fall Festival 2017. This event is primarily intended to continue building community and goodwill in and around the Hamline Midway neighborhood. But-importantly-it is also a fundraiser for the Hamline Elementary Parent Teacher Association. The PTA is dedicated to supporting and funding arts education at Hamline Elementary School-a Saint Paul Public School. All donations are tax deductible. Exhibiting or Vending

All exhibitors received a designated outdoor 10' x 10x space. One 30" x 8' table will be provided. You are welcome to bring you own tent or canopy, if you wish. Tents must be weighted down. Please do not use stakes. Contact Hamline Elementary PTA directly to discuss you needs. All exhibitors are expected to adhere to a zero waste and other festival rules and guidelines. Exhibitors will not be confirmed until full payment is received. 

Activities are a fun way to draw people into your booth as well as educate them about your organization. We love to see our neighbors and exhibitors/vendors interacting. Please consider adding an activity to your booth to help increase your interactions and fun.

Payments

Payment can be made through PAYPAL HERE or sending a check to Hamline Elementary PTA at 1599 Englewood Avenue, Saint Paul, MN 55104.

Fence Weaving Project

 "Weaving Community" is a Hamline Midway community-particiaption art event that will transform an ordinary fence into a beautiful work of art. All are welcome October 7th & 8th for two days of art-marking with your friends and neighbors, culminating in a celebration at the corner of Snelling and Hubbard Avenues. 

This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through grants grom Minnesota State Arts Board and the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropiation from the arts and cultural heritate fund. 

 

Making the Fall Festival A Zero Waste Event

Eureka Recycling, a zero waste non-profit working to demonstrate that waste is preventable, helping us make the Fall Festival zero waste! Almost all the waste of this event will be recycled or composted into dirt and we’ll be able to see how close to zero we can get. Thank you for helping make this happen by visiting the Eureka table to learn more about zero waste at home and checking out the zero waste stations!
